I'm thrilled to say my thesis, Brainstorm, had won a place in the AIGA exhibit: New Voices, Unique Visions.
"New Voices, Unique Visions (NVUV) is a student design competition aimed at showcasing the best student designers from renown colleges and universities in New England. AIGA Boston and the Endicott College invite student and junior designers from throughout New England to enter their work in this exciting exhibition."
Brainstorm is thesis studying how design can help bridge many of the burdens in American middle school education (grades 5-8) such as low engagement, restricted control of curriculum, and low retention rates. Design thinking is leveraged alongside a very similar education method known as Student-Centered Learning (SCL) to provide digital and environmental resources, as well as engage a new school of thought.
